Prayer Chain
Any requests for prayer can be directed to Amanda Prenger through the church office.
The Prayer Chain involves a team of people who have committed themselves to pray for those within the St. Giles’ family, but also for those in the community or beyond. Confidentiality is respected. One or two emails are sent out once a week with requests for prayer. Confidentiality is respected.
If you are attending St. Giles and would like to be added to this group please let Amanda know.
Pastoral Care
We believe that a care-giving listening ministry provides care to the bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, unemployed, relocated, and others facing a crisis or life challenge.
Confidentiality is of utmost concern as an important means of building trust in the caring relationship.
If you find yourself in need of care you may talk to your Elder or the minister who will help you find the right person to connect with whether it is themselves or a member of the Pastoral Care Committee.
The Pastoral Care Committee has members who have participated in the Stephen Ministry care-giving course or some other course of equivalent training, they provided one-to-one Christian care to hurting people in and around our church family.
