FAQ’s
What do I wear?
The first thing you’ll notice is our family atmosphere with people of all ages and walks of life. We’re more concerned about your real-life needs than we are about what you wear. Dress casually, or wear your Sunday best and you’ll fit right in.
What types of music do you have?
Our worship team varies from week to week but each team will lead us in upbeat, contemporary songs of celebration, more intimate songs of worship, as well as traditional hymns.
We have teams of musicians and singers who help us lead our music. If you’d like to join one of our teams talk to us!
Children are invited to take part in music through singing.
What happens after the service?
When the service is done, people of all ages are invited to the hall for a time of refreshments and an opportunity to connect. Plan on staying so that we can welcome you to the St. Giles’ family in a more informal way.
What about my kids?
St. Giles loves to involve our kids (and the older folks too) in every aspect of worship.
Kids take part in singing, communion, and reading scriptures. We have Sunday school and nursery care available most Sundays for your kids. Check out our Children’s Ministry page for more details. If there is no Sunday school on any given Sunday, or if your kid doesn’t feel up to going that week we have colouring pages always available to help with busy hands.
Please be sure to contact our office staff during the week if we can answer any further questions that you might have. Phone 250-564-6494 or email us at office@stgilespresbyterian.com
